Eddie Piller’s Cornelius Monkey Boot by Delicious Junction

Eddie Piller is a face. Eddie is an English DJ and record label entrepreneur and has long been associated with the vibrant MOD scene; his influence reaches far and wide across the years. Along with Giles Peterson, Eddie created and launched the Acid Jazz label in 1987. Before that he launched an underground fanzine Extraordinary Sensations and operated as both a DJ and concert promoter.

Check out his current radio show The Modcast on Soho Radio and you tap into a rich vein of music and culture past, present and a glimpse of the future. Eddie remains as enthused and passionate about the fascinating subculture as he ever was. When discussing his love of all things Mod we discovered his passion about the elusive Monkey Boot. Here at Delicious Junction HQ we took on his challenge to create a twist on the boot without loosing the DNA of such a classic cut.

The Boot

Eddie was very particular about the toe shape, sole depth and of course the Corded Suede – this was to be the ultimate ingredient in creating this MODern classic. The Cornelius Monkey boot by Eddie Piller & Delicious Junction is made using a lightweight rubber compound sole and traditional stitch-down construction.

Originally available in 3 delicious flavours: Dark Brown leather, Burnt Orange suede and Stone Corded Suede; all with crimson leather linings.
